Consider your strengths, your interests, what you would like to learn, and what you can offer as you evaluate opportunities for volunteering. Organizations in our area are putting their volunteer opportunities on the web at a site called Volunteer Match www.volunteermatch.org. You can view volunteer opportunities at the Volunteer Match website by entering our zipcode into the search box. You can also optionally register your interests and keep track of your volunteering (parental permission required if under 16 years old).
